About me

My name is Amanda, I am a mother and in remarrying to my husband, our family grow, becoming a blended family. I grow up in Britian, emigrating to Australia when my two children were young.

I been a nurse for all my adult life, as such I have had the privilege to witness some the happiest or the most difficult of days of people’s lives, offering empathy, compassion, or a shoulder to cry on. I have dealt with many challenging and unexpected events throughout my career, requiring me thinking on my feet and develop strong communication skills.

My colleagues would say I pay attention to detail, I am calm under pressure, personable, that I always love a sense of occasion and a good laugh. I grew up in a multicultural community and have been lucky enough to travel extensively and so have been exposed to many different religions, cultures, and diversity.
